Seahorses, playful excited seahorses. Did you know that male seahorses have babies too! That means they must have double the babies! Floating gracefully across the deep blue sea their scales standing out as they are very unique. Seahorses have unique identifying markings so they can tell each other apart! Don’t you think that’s amazing! When seahorses digest it is a lot different to us: They have no teeth and no stomach! I wonder how they eat? Seahorses have long thin snouts that enable them probe into nooks and crannies for food. Yes, they do eat through their snouts. Seahorses can live up to 1 to 5 years: 1 year for the smaller species and 3 to 5 years for the larger! Poor seahorses, they don’t live for very long.
